Thats because the upload part of the site is not working. i have always known about that. Pretty sure i mentioned that like 3 times already and it is in the original post in the main site right above the link to this site lol Tongue

we just leave it all up. this is just temporary anyway. when the time comes all these posts will be deleted when i connect everything to the main database.

For now we just test and report problems to fix

The data base error will probably happen more. this is because my hosting provider will only let me have one database. i had to butch the connection and point it to another website of mine so the connection probably is not that stable right now. once i get the look sorted and fix and other bugs that are not related to https or uploads or database errors i will move the site over to the main kiwi site and inter-grade everything there and install https.

this is a classic example where chatgtp is useful on some and in others not very useful. In this case it was useful for the code to fix the problem but not useful finding the problem.

it was not in the page layout or the frames. it was in the header under the includes. I had to tell it to only go to max 100% page width because the logo was wider than the phone screen so i have to auto resize the logo for the mobile view. then everything snapped into place.


Please do not spend any more time trying to work out the https errors. There is no https on the site. i have not set any of that up on the server end yet.


Dont bother trying to find out why any uploads (that includes avatars) are not working. I know this. i said that from the start. it doesnt work because i have disabled it due to limited licenses.

I am interested in all these 501 errors and what pages they happen on. but my guess would be 90% of them are to do with uploading. and since there is no license installed you will get a lot of these errors


Keep up the good work and i hope to get all the bugs fixed soon!

dont worry about image uploads. i know they dont work. dont worry about any of the uploads as they are not enabled Wink

i only have one license which is install on the other site. when the main site gets upgraded the license will stay with it. this site is purely to see what the look and feel is like and to find bugs....which i can see there is a lot!! ha ha ha ha ha
